Luau 2007

Friday night was the 2007 Living Large Luau. This was our third year. It was ALOT of work, but ALOT of fun. We started setting up in the morning, and was finished just in time. We had a total of about 750 residents who attended the Luau.
We had face painting, a bouncer and a slide, our landscaping service provided snow cones and they had a dunk booth with proceeds to profit the Fort Bragg Fischer House. The food was yummy, we had it catered by Front Porch: Hawaiian chicken, fried chicken, corndogs, coleslaw and the BEST hushpuppies. WE also had Hula dancers and belly dancers along with the Fayetteville RollrZ.
Jacob and Cub Scout Pack 730 passed out leis. Andrew was in charge of making sure the little ones didn't take too many sodas. Melissa hung out in the sound booth AGAIN this year, with the Fayetteville Police Band's sound guy Tim. Alexander just enjoyed the free food and snow cones. Abby just bounced around from place to place.
After it was over, we crashed in the Neighborhood Center for a few minutes to enjoy the Cold Air Conditioning!
We still have things to put away, but I'll think about that tomorrow.
