The Cub Scouts had a Luau theme for their Blue and Gold Banquet. After dinner we were entertained with a Polynesian Haka.......for those of you unfamiliar with this dance....it is so cool.
The haka is an action chant, often described as a "war dance", but more a chant with hand gestures and foot stamping, originally performed by warriors before a battle, proclaiming their strength and prowess and generally verbally abusing the opposition.
Some schools have used this before a football game but due to some opponents not taking it very well, they are not allowed to do it anymore! Shay said he felt intimidated!
