Abby wanted to show Daddy some of her school clothes. She does love to shop, especially for shoes. I think she gets that from her Auntie Bridget!

We decided to do something different than the normal paperchains. Each day that Daddy is gone we add a link. Every week that he is gone we add a star. One month down.......11 more to go.

A Good Friend
A good friend is someone who is truthful, listens to your problems, doesn't talk about you behind your back, doesn't laugh at you when you fall and is friendly to you when you're scared. A good friend is also loyal, doesn't bully you around, accepts you for who you are, is there for you when you are down, helps you with your problems, offers solutions, and doesn't laugh at you if you get a bad grade. A good friend also doesn't make fun of you when you do something wrong.

Shay is in the JROTC program at his high school this year. It seems strange to see Air Force stuff around the house, when it's been Army for sooooooooo long!
